Instructions for use
How to use
Before using your period underwear, wash them first to activate their absorbency. We recommend machine washing at 40 °C with a spin cycle of 1000 rpm. Use a liquid detergent suitable for wool. To protect the merino fabric, wash the underwear inside a laundry bag for delicate items. Do not use fabric softener, as it will reduce absorbency and may damage the membrane.
After wearing, rinse the underwear in cold water. You may use a wool-friendly soap (lanolin, olive, or Marseille soap), but avoid cosmetic soaps, bile soaps, or traditional bar soaps. Gently rub the crotch area (do not scrub) and avoid wringing; instead, press out excess water. This helps keep the merino soft and prevents pilling.
Then, machine wash at 40 °C and let them dry inside out. Do not dry directly on a radiator. You can also wash them later by simply rinsing them by hand and letting them dry inside out. Afterwards, you can wash them with your regular laundry whenever convenient.
